Hello List, after i have upgradet OSS 10.0 to KDE 3.4.3 from the supplementary tree from ftp.suse.com i have a problem with removable devices.
My USB Harddrive is not shown up on the desktop, which was before on KDE 3.4.2, and mountet CD/DVD's are not shown up with it names but only with DVD(dev/hdd).
Does anybody know anything about this Prob. ?
... is there really nobody out there with the same Problem ? It looks for me as the kdelibs where build without HAL support. HAL is mounting the removables into /media , but KDE doesen´t reads the contents of media, but only the fstab ... So the next i will do is to rebuild the src of kdelibs3, and hope that this will point KDE to the latest HAL ... Micha
