Clint: I'm with Kai. Just use Konqueror. For example, type in the address ftp://yourname@192.168.?.? and you will get the log on to the machine you are trying to access. You can move directory structures with no problem. Very slick indeed. HTH Chuck On 4/2/06, Clint Tinsley <clintin@linuxmail.org> wrote:
KBear crashes on me consistenly making it unusable. I have tolerated this as I really didn't need it, using the command line FTP client for doing single file FTP transfers. But I would really like to have KBear work, no clue why it crashes, the KDE crash handler complains about SIG something but thats about all the information I have.
Anyone with any experience with KBear and getting it to work or an alternative GUI FTP client that might work in the SuSE 10.0 (Retail) environment. Be nice to be able to drag and drop folders between the FTP site and the local host.
Thanks,
