hi
From: Dan Am [mailto:suse@dertext.de] Hi again,
I have 2 SCSI Controllers onboard, but I want one to come up first and take /dev/sda, not /dev/sdd, as it does now. Where must I tweak to change this behaviour, and have the this controller come up first ?
As long as you have two different adapters (e.g. one adaptec 294x and one serveraid 4x) there's no problem. Just rebuild your initrd (mk_initrd --help) and set the apropriate order of your modules (have a look at /etc/sysconfig/kernel too) If you have two adapters using the same module you have to switch the adapters according to the pci-slots on your motherboard.
Thanks
Dan
you're welcome, Stefan
