Hello,
I have been looking for something like CryoPID: Freeze and Unfreeze processes in Linux [ http://www.linuxscrew.com/2007/10/17/cryopid-freeze-and-unfreeze-processes-i... ]
but the original site at http://cryopid.berlios.de/ seems to be out of order.
Does anybody know if there is a newer version for kernel 3.1.10, 64Bit or any similar tool? I just need to put the state of a process into some file so that I can shutdown the machine and resume, where I stopped after boot again. I know that this is not an easy thing.
Thanks in advance ME
