I've just installed my first server and I would like to use it to collect all my mails from different locations . ... My first problem is with fetching the messages. ... So also amavis was running, but I stopped it to follow the guidelines of the webpage. .... IIANM, amavis uses port 10024. You stopped amavis, so when your mail gets to 10024, there is nothing there to get it. restart amavis and see if you can receive mail. I don't believe that stopping amavis was necessary to test your settings. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos
