No. It was my anonymous ftp server that had some MPEG-1 video experiments on it. Somebody got in there and found a video and then submitted my address to www.0th.net. I'm on a cable modem and I only use it to conduct access/configuration experiments with a friend of mine. Though I have an open "illegal" http and ftp server, I'm not a cable bandwidth hog, and I want to keep it that way. It was more like a sparse web site soley for tracking ftp sites. Napster gets through fine, and I don't mind that. At 03:53 PM 3/30/00 -0500, you wrote:
For my favorite improvement, I used DENY to stop a .mp3 search engine that was sniffing my ftp server every 15 minutes!
Just curious, was it Napster? Or something like that?
