I have recently installed 11.1 in my laptop. I have found the display not well managed (it is a hp with intel 915m graphic card), sometimes screen is blinking and cursor weirdly slipping away, so i have been tinkering a little the xorg.conf and used saxx. Well, after reboot x11 does not start any more, because the pcidata module cannot be found. How can that happen? Which package provides that module? I have noticed that /usr/lib/xorg/modules//libpcidata.so does not exist. Is that relevant?
Try doing a sax2 -r "remove detection database and reinit the hardware database." -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
