Can you check something for me. You are NOT using the daemonized amavis (amavisd) ? It looks as though you are definitely not using amavis from the released tree. But the version of spamassassin should be a small matter, even 2.4x works with amavis.
Well ps aux | grep amavis yields: vscan 9865 0.0 3.6 30756 19052 ? S Oct11 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -T /usr/sbin/amavisd vscan 30589 0.0 4.3 31132 22356 ? S 15:20 0:01 /usr/bin/perl -T /usr/sbin/amavisd vscan 31675 0.0 4.4 31348 22756 ? S 16:20 0:01 /usr/bin/perl -T /usr/sbin/amavisd root 326 0.0 0.1 3544 572 pts/1 S 17:23 0:00 grep amavis So make of it what you will. I won't print megabytes of log files! If you're trying to work it out from looking at my headers, I do user a postfix header_check to remove the avamis in/out ones. :)
