If you ever find an Android client that threads, please let me know. I too have been searching for that... Coincidentally, I recently got an Android tablet and am also looking for a threaded email client (I have been using K9). I just found out from this thread:
https://code.google.com/p/k9mail/issues/detail?id=258
that the developmental version of K9 from svn have threading support. You can build it yourself if you want to (the instructions are in post 34). Alternatively, I can send you a copy once I have time to build it.
Well, that is interesting.... But those posts are from November of 2010 and later on I see the comment of Comment 50 by project member jes...@gmail.com, Apr 4, 2011 No. The existing implementation is both too complex and far too slow to merge into core. So, I wonder if it is worth the effort and if they plan to revamp the code at some point.
