What is the difference between Suite 99 and Aplixware.
I plan to continue with the free apps , but I did have the Aplixware demo, and more recnetly, the WP 7.0 demo(installed using xrpm from the RH 5.1 commercial CD).
I want the combination of the commercial apps, as well as the likes of Lyx, but I'm not certain what I'm getting.
TIA

P.S. I agree that SuSE is easier to install( base system and X).
There is no real difference. The suite 99 includes a lot of other productivity applications bundled together at a special price. The suite you are getting is applix 4.4.1 installable via yast. If you go this route be sure to download some of the fixes. Notably the new file filters and the fix for the domain name bug in the import filters. The fixes are at www.applix.com BTW. -- Michael Perry mperry@basin.com ------------------ - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
