Funny that it works on wine with fewer resources/lower hardware with out giving errors as it does on native windows on same hardare. Thats scary. I do think that it will help woes more users to the desktop on linux , and it comes from a major software house that is very well known. That can/will hopefully help to draw more users to linux , and thus give more support to justifiy a rewrite on linux or a re right ot the unix version, It does make sence to unify the code and have one code base , on todays nwere hardware , I am willing to use it under wine , as long as works and runs solidly. I havent had it crash yet on wine/linux , and on newer hardware , I dont think speed will be an issue.
I still feel bad about the fact that it uses wine. I will wait till it is native code. If it ever is. I just don't like the idea. I never install wine or dosemu and sure don't want them installed by someone else.
