Hi everyone, Thanks for all the help so far, I spoke to someone else and they suggested that if there were lots of modem drivers installed under windows the beastie may be nought but a hapless winmodem after all... Under windiows sytem control panel, I clicked on the modem and then on Drivers and it gave me a list: UNDER \WINDOWS: PTCOM.VXD VVOICE.VXD VMODEM.VXD VMM32.VXD UNDER: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ VMODEM.VXD PTCTRL.CPL PTVCD.VXD PTSERIAL.VXD Do you think from this its a winmodem? Thanks, Dom == _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
