How do I know if SuSE 9.3 kernel includes FUSE?
FYI: FUSE is a kernel component that support userspace filesystems. Various userspace filesystems exist that use FUSE to do the necessary kernel work.
FUSE is in the latest 2.6.14-rc1 candidate I believe, and I'm hoping SuSE has in the 9.3 kernel.
It's not in 9.3, but it is in 10.0.
Anders, assuming you have 10.0 OSS, does it also have the ntfsmount program. It is part of the ntfsprogs package. 9.3 has ntfsprogs, but not ntfsmount. I guess it was stripped from 9.3 because it requires FUSE, but now that 10.0will have FUSE it would be nice if ntfsmount was included. In particular the ntfsmount from ntfsprogs 1.11.2 is what I'm hoping works well. Thanks Greg -- Greg Freemyer The Norcross Group Forensics for the 21st Century
