latest change was kernel (2 days), but I *think* that that kernel was active and worked prior to *this* reboot.
Sometimes a reboot changes things without you knowing because you customized the 'live' system and the book lost all that. Mea cupla, that's particularly true of firewall settings!
Bingo. Stopped server firewall, issued mount -a, started nfs, started firewall and still have connection. But, "yast nfs" reports firewall port is open ??? And I made no firewall changes between boots ??? tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
