I set up the ntp client in yast to use an ntp server, but it only seems to synchronize on boot. When is it supposed to synchronize? How do I adjust the schedule?
I've tried running ntpdate, but that says the socket's in use or something and I think it's because setting up the ntp client installed and started the ntp server.
ntpq -p will show you if it'w working. I had to add the udp port for xntp to the firewall config to get it going. -- Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600 Machines to trade http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600/trade.html Open Source Weekend http://www.osw.ca
