Maybe you should try pavucontrol. It allows to define the output for specific programms. Am 04.02.2012 04:07, schrieb Stefan Gofferje:

Hi,
some time ago, I removed pulseaudio because it didn't let me use my soundcard in analog/full duplex mode. Now I reinstalled it for testing and, well, full duplex works but I have some other issues.
First of all, I don't see any device list in Phonon. Normally, there should be a list of devices to priorize. But it looks like this: http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k26/sgofferj/screenshot10.png
I would like to have the priority list back... :)
Then I would like to know how I can make specific devices use specific outputs. I use the Flightgear flightsim and with it comes a voice com program, fgcom. It does accept parameters for input/output device and has a list option. However, the list option only shows "default" for in and for out. Ideally, I would like fgcom to use the front mic/front headset while the general sound goes through the 7.1 rear connectors.
Any hints, anyone?
