Hi,
YaST has an optional module to check/change alternatives.
at desktop i see in yast:
default-displaymanager /usr/lib/X11/displaymanagers/lightdm auto
if i go to change i see 3 more: ....console 5 ....lightdm 35 ....ssdm 25 ....xdm 10
so, if i understand it correct, the design of the loginscreen (not speaking from background picture) will be changed if i change to a nother displaymanager. and the prority is what would be automatically set?
then the http://susepaste.org/94134292 is lightdm??????
and this is now tumbleweed standard? (i have not manually changed to this) and on older installations (updated from other opensusesystems) it will stay on other things? (laptop not available at the moment, so i could not check there)
simoN AFAIK, when you did set kdm and kdm is not available, then you get lightdm as some have experienced problems when sddm supersedes to kdm. But I am not sure of this. My loginscreen is as follows in TW when set to sddm normally (which is the default for me since I installed TW: https://susepaste.org/2005638 So this is how it should look like by default.
