It cannot find the drive. It is trying to write to the ram drive or cd. I forget.
Boot with the rescue disk. Mount the drive as follows: (assuming your root is hde6 from your example) mount /dev/hde6 /mnt (mount drive) chroot /mnt /bin/bash (switch root dir to mounted drive) lilo (rerun lilo)
