[opensuse] Leap and ZYPP_MULTICURL=0

Does anyone know if zypper in Leap supports ZYPP_MULTICURL=0 ? I ask because I am trying to update a system where I have needed this in the past, and I think it looks like it is exhibiting the same behavior as when this option is not used.
