ZMD does not appear to be running - checking info

Dear List: This is an old problem I have been putting off until I got more important issues solved. According to info I have gathered, the fix for ZMD is to delete /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db, or, according to bug no.191140, /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db and 'installed-packages-stamp.' Just checking; if anyone knows anything else I should check first, I would welcome the input. Thanks, --ED--
