Hi All, I've wedged SuSE 10.2 retail onto my new MacBook. This is the second generation Intel-based Macbook with the Core 2 Duo processor. The Apple profiler in OSX lists this as MacBook2,1 hardware. Only bluetooth and infrared don't work (haven't tried the iSight yet - but that's not important to me). I want to get these working, particularly the BT. Any pointers appreciated. I know that these devices worked on the previous generation Macbook, and I think this might be because Apple did not replace the hardware OEM vender / device IDs. The new kit is different - the vendor string is Apple. :-( The bluetooth device is something from Cambridge Silicon Radio. lsusb -v doesn't show anything immediately bluetoothy. lsusb -v reveals this for the IR: Bus 003 Device 002: ID 05ac:8240 Apple Computer, Inc. Device Descriptor: bLength 18 bDescriptorType 1 bcdUSB 2.00 bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level) bDeviceSubClass 0 bDeviceProtocol 0 bMaxPacketSize0 8 idVendor 0x05ac Apple Computer, Inc. idProduct 0x8240 bcdDevice 1.10 iManufacturer 1 Apple Computer, Inc. iProduct 2 IR Receiver iSerial 0 bNumConfigurations 1 So where do I go from here?
