Hi Friends,
I am trying to install Suse 9.0 Enterprise Server on Server on Core2Duo Xeon 3040 (2.4 Ghz) ,4GB DDR2 667 RAM and Toshiba 160 GB SATA 2 HDD .
Suse is not able to detect the SATA hard drives. Is there any way I can install Suse 9.0 on this server.
Thanks & Regards
Ankush
IIRC with SuSE 9.0 the original DVD would not not install on sata with 64 bit dual processor systems. However, a patch download was released. Used to have it somewhere... I was forced by a cheapo IDE drive to install the base OS on and patch in the sata drive after installation... - -- ============================================================================== I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
