Hello:
I would like to go back to LibreOffice 3.3, the last decently working LO version. Despite of the UI changes (removing indication of text boundaries), LO 3.6 and 4.1 does not print duplex pages. Even if I select duplex--long side, LO disregards the setting. Duplex works fine in Adobe Reader.
[snip] OK, I found something: In the print window Print -> Poperties -> Device, there is a pulldown menu called "Printer Language Type" which is set to "Automatic: PDF". If I select here "PostScript (Level from driver)" option, duplex printing works correctly. Now I have three questions: 1. Theoretical: What is "Automatic: PDF" print option, and why is it set as default? 2. Theoretical: Why does not work this correctly? 3. Practical and IMPORTANT: How can I make option "PostScript (Level from driver)" sticky? After restarting LO I have to select it again.
