[S.u.S.E. Linux] Printing Problems in 5.2

I too am having similar problems to others with my HP Deskjet now that I have upgraded to SuSE 5.2 Basically ASCII files no longer print out properly with the RAW driver. I get a resultant collection of lines of errors. The solution would be much appreciated.
