Guys,
Recently I have begun installing gnome as part of my linux installs. Since openbox, enlightenment, etc.. all rely on pieces of gnome to some extent, having all the parts installed helps. After my latest 11.0 install, I can't seem to find the gnome repositories for 11.0. All of the repositories I find have only 11.1 and 11.2 packages. Where are the repos with the 11.0 packages? The only gnome repository that works is:
...
What's the deal? Is gnome just not supported or available for 11.0? Does opensuse really not provide the gnome packages for 11.0 that it does for 11.1? Will the 11.1 packages work if I rebuild from the src.rpms? Just curious. I would really like to have a solid 2.28 for 11.0.
Aparently, the gnome devs/packagers think that there is no point in supporting 11.0 and have moved forward, leaving us out in the cold. Not only they don't do new versions, they removed what was made available previously. Yes, I asked about this in the gnome list, months ago. Got no answer. :-/ - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
