Hi everybody.
I am having this problem:
I use a custom /etc/init.d entry to add ip aliases over my NIC card. Script path is /etc/init.d/ipalias. I made sym links on relevant directories under /etc/init.d as follows:
/etc/init.d/rc3.d/K17ipalias -> /etc/init.d/ipalias /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S06ipalias -> /etc/init.d/ipalias
This cannot work. The links are created by insserv from special tags in the header of the script. Please read the insserv manual page and create a correct header for your script.
