Hi all:
I'm just getting started with Linux; trying to get things to work together and figuring out what the capabilities are. My question for today is whether there is a device driver for the Imation LS 120 floppy drives? (This is a nice little drive which reads both ordinary 3.5 disks as well as a 120 mb floppy of the physical same size.)
I think that the LS120's are ATAPI devices. Make sure that you have installed drivers for those. There might be a HOWTO at the LDP. Go to <A HREF="http://www.ssc.com/linux</A">http://www.ssc.com/linux</A> and search around a little bit for a reference to the Linux Documentation Project, then look for HOWTOs. I think I remember seeing one for ATAPI devices. Mostly ATAPI devices are CDROMs, so the docs might lean toward that.
