What show stopper bug is that, Tim? I've got SO 6.0 from SuSE 7.3 Pro installed and it runs faultlessly.
SO 6.0 Beta 1 has a known incompatibility with KDE 2.2.1 (I found that out from Ben). What it did, was that it would crash whenever I tried to open any menu while using KDE.
What differences do you see between SO and OO?
Well, ofcourse OO lacks OBDC connectivity. Other than that, I found everything about the same (so far as I could tell, since SO wouldn't work for me). It's leaps and bounds ahead of SO 5.2, I can say that. I would assume that OO probably runs a bit better than SO - sorta like Moz runs better than Netscape.

hum... I never encountered a menu problem with KDE while SO 6 was open. I did notice that the database, form and report design features were not as obvious in SO6 as they were in 5.2. They are there, its just that they are not as obvious, until you get real comforatable with the icons in the left margin. BTW, how did you get to be such a Linux guru? :) Really! JLK
