I see. heh :-) I most often
use them to save logs from failed test (Cauldron/Cooker/Factory/Rawhide) installations, and for booting DOS, like to upgrade a BIOS, diagnose a possible HD failure, or initialize a virgin HD.
And from where you get supplies ? the last floppy disk manufacturing plant shut down in 2011... BIOSes have now builtin flashers or the vendors provide ways to create USB/CD bootable media..
USB is a nuisance because the media provide no room to write anything useful on.
