I like the new login window, it's very clean and crisp. Hoewever, the hostname being displayed doesn't correspond to the hostname assigned by dhcp. Is there a way of fixing that?
Check /etc/hosts if the name of your host is listed there too. When there is no definition to an address out of 127.0.0.0/8 or any other you get the right name displayed.
No, there is no definition like that, I never use that. Currently, the login screen shows "linux-t8b0", apparently ignoring the hostname that was assigned via DHCP. If I login, then out, the hostname is corrected. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.2°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
