I want to run Suse from a CD on a laptop. I'm confused about how to do this. Do I download all of the CDs or the Live DVD? Or will I have to dual boot the laptop?
Have the disc sets for Suse 7.0 which I purchased and ran several years ago, but they are I'm sure only of historical interest now.
You can download and burn a live DVD of SUSE 10.1 or install. You can dual boot to have both Linux and Windows available. If you install, you can download and burn either a DVD or the CD set. You can also download the single net install CD and then install over the internet. Incidentally, there are both 32 and 64 bit versions available.
