vsound for alsa?

Anyone know of anything like vsound that works for alsa? I'd like to use it to capture realplayer stuff and real sends it's output to /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p vs /dev/dsp which is what vsound uses. http://www.vsound.org/ -- One day at a time, one second if that's what it takes
