Lpr is /usr/bin/lpr and is contained in lprold package (series n1). And I have answered:
But now I have another problem : I made some tests and get only the left half of the pages printed, the right half stays white. I mean, each time, the picture or the text is complete but as if squeezed... never saw that before. My /etc/printcap looks ok (a4 is specified as the default size, as I want to). My printer is a Canon bjc 2000 (ahem...) and I use the bjc 800 driver. Any hints ? Kastus added:
I don't have access to BJC 2000, so this is my speculation only. I've only been using BJ-10e (it was nice). noted down :)
www.linuxprinting.org recommends bjc600 driver for BJC 2000 printer, not bjc800 that might be your problem. Please look at http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=bjc600 for further explanaions. I'll do that. The bjc 800 driver seemed to work with my 6.4, though... Many thanks again, Kastus.
