I found doing a #make mrproper before the #make menuconfig fixed this for me, though I was using 2.0.36 Hope this helps, Andy At 15:16 07/12/98 +0000, you wrote:
Hi,
After running # make menuconfig
I use the following commands:
# make dep clean zImage I then run # make zlilo
Unfortunately the output tells me that vmlinux is too big. This is the error:
# kernel /usr/src/linux-2.0.34.SuSE/vmlinux is too big # make[1]: ***[zlilo] Error 1 # make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/src/linux-2.0.34.SuSE/arch/i386/boot'
# make: ***[zlilo] Error 2
Any idea how to solve the problem ?
Cheers,
