Only on OS/2, which is why I stopped using it for much other than DOS and Chatzilla. In Linux I keep SM next browser and CZ windows open constantly, closing only for version updates or X session restarts, while SM current I close briefly for backup 6 days a week. I do have ipv6.disable=1 on cmdline and keep ipv6 entries out of hosts, and 3 Firefox sessions constantly open.
Maybe what you're seeing is some sort of nameserver caching problem?
I haven't used OS/2 in years. However, given that Firefox and Thunderbird work, it's not likely a name server issue. It also happened first thing this morning, after I hadn't used my computer for several hours. This is plenty of time for cache contents to expire. I have been running IPv6 on my network for over 3 years and this is a very recent issue, so I doubt that's the case. On the other hand, there was a Seamonkey update not too long ago. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
