Subject: [SLE] Linux/NetBEUI question
A friend of mine is taxing my Network knowledge these days. He has a
Windows
server and is trying out Linux.... as a Client on his NetBEUI network. The
question is.. how do you get Linux to log into ro see the NetBEUI
network....
on a Windows server? Is it even possible to work with NetBEUI and Linux? I
have done some Google-ing on this and everything I come up with is usually a
dead end. Even my Linux+ Certification text books have nothing on this
topic.
No I don't know why he uses an ancient protocol like NetBEUI... He likes to
do
things the hard way I guess. Interesting question though.... Anyone have
any ideas or suggestions of where I can look for onfo on this?
