Ok seeing as how everyone thought it was hardware failure I decided to pull out a livecd of mepis that I know worked with my wireless. Inserted disc and booted and it worked right out of the gate. Automatically found my prism3 wireless usb and grab a ip from my router. I have ruled out hardware failure. Any other ideas?
Switch to Mempis?
In all honesty, that's what made me switch to SUSE from Mandrake. I'd been using Mandrake 6.0 and 8.0, but then I bought an Epson USB printer. Mandrake 10.0 wouldn't see it. SUSE 9.1 did, and I switched right then.
