open kaddressbook and create an addressbook or import an existing book. It's under "File"
I've already got an address book. I've been using it (and adding to it) for years. My problem is that it's lost some functionality since I upgraded to KDE 4.4.4 from KDE 4.3.
Why do I need to create a new address book?
This is what made the "groups" option available for me. You might just try exporting your present addresses, making a new book and then importing the exported addresses.
Again, my friend had on addresses, but this enabled "groups" for him/me.
Ah. OK, I'll try that tomorrow - it's bedtime already here ;) Bob -- Registered Linux User #463880 FSFE Member #1300 GPG-FP: A6C1 457C 6DBA B13E 5524 F703 D12A FB79 926B 994E openSUSE 11.3, Kernel 2.6.34.12-desktop, KDE 4.4.4 Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR RAM, nVidia GeForce 9600GT -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
