here's a compatibility question - I've checked the cdb, and there's no mention of the above keyboard.

This could be a nice Christmas present - if it works. It's a nice split 'natural' keyboard, with one of those gourgeous contoured Logitech mice. It's wireless as well. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with Linux, but I thought I might check.
Hi all, In addition to recompiling your kernel to support : CONFIG_IRDA, you will need the Linux/IrDA-Utils, which contains irkbd. I ould not find any information about that specific keyboard, but the again you could writeh the how-to if you get it working. :) You might want to read the /usr/linux/src/Documentation/networking/irda.txt, theIR how to at ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO and the Linux IR Project at http://www.cs.uit.no/linux-irda/howto.html. I had heard that the IR protocol for linux is lacking. Anyone else know for sure? James -- _________________________________________________________ James F.
