FWIW, with GotoMeeting, Cisco Webex and Jitsi, it runs in the browser.

Zoom also works (probably with some limitations) within Firefox and w/o the original client. I'm using the client on openSUSE heavily for a long time now and it works quite well compared to others I have tried and had to use. Wolfgang
