Hi,
I have a very little bit of BTC and ETH in an online crypto place, that now informed me that it will start to charge me for storing my cryptos.
So, I want to transfer it to my own computer.
I know there is the original bitcoin wallet, but that cannot handle ETH.
So I am looking for a free, if possible open-source, wallet that does not depend on some online company and that can handle both currencies (or, in the worst case, a wallet for ETH only, and handle bitcoin in its original wallet).
I don't need any sophisticated market tools. I need to be able to receive and send cryptos, and maybe one day exchange them to real money.
Any hints? Thanks, and have a nice evening.
Daniel
I use Trezor (https://trezor.io/) hardware wallet. The desktop application can be downloaded as an AppImage and it works well. I also maintain https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/network:cryptocurrencies/trezord (whoops, it needs fixing), which is needed to connect it with MetaMask in a browser.
