I tried to change /etc/fstab as su and used Kwrite, but when I tried to save the changes I got the message: it's not possible to write to file:///etc/fstab
How can I overcome this barrier?
/etc/fstab is owned by <root> and you do not have rights to edit as /<user>. To make changes, you must become <root>, ie: sudo or su.
I did it for su as well as for root!!
note: be sure to save a copy of fstab prior to editing just in case you do something the system doesn't like :^)....
