Binary executables

Dear All, I downloaded a static binary chess game that I used to play on Linux Mandrake and I cannot get it to open on Suse 8. Everytime I try to run it I get an error message that the program cannot be found. I made it executable as according to directions. It uses the qt libraries. Any help will be appreciated.
