Thanks for the support, guys. I just found out that my modem is a *winmodem*. The phrase 'The PCI56RVP is our top of the line PCI bus Win-modem' on E-Tech's site couldn't have made it any clearer. However, their FAQ sheet gave me hope. It sates the following: Q: Does the PC56RVP modem work with the Linux operating system? A: Yes. Any of our Rockwell-based modems that support non-plug-and-play, including this one, will work with Linux. Now I just need to do a littel bit more research. But that's what Linux is all about, right? - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
