As I posted yesterday and did not get a response I have red-carpet up and running on 64bit- SuSE 9.2, But I can't find any sources that support 64bit upgrades except ximian which just tells me my system is up todate. I have put in the list the ones from Open-carpet and a few others that support 32 bit but they don't seem to support 64bit yet . So I would recommend waiting until some do before installing. I was using Red Carpet to maintain my workstation running SuSE Pro 9.1. That box died (motherboard toasted) and I'm getting ready to install 9.2 on a new box, but I can't find any information on an appropriate version of Red Carpet. If I go by what I found via Google, Red Carpet is now only available as part of several commercial (i.e. I have to shell out some more of my hard-earned cash) offerings. Is there a (free) source of Red Carpet for SuSE Pro 9.2? Cheers, Gordon Keehn
Install it with apt :) SuSE/9.2-i386/base $ zgrep red-carpet contlist.bz2 red-carpet;2.4.4-0.ximian.10.1;i586;ximian
that would be 'apt install red-carpet' ;)
Did you know that red-carpet uses the apt repository to pull the rpms from.
