Could somebody please explain what this changes / how it stops the Seg. fault ? I had the same problem.
Currently my /proc/sys/vm/heap-stack-gap file contains a value of 128.
I had worked around the Seg. fault by changing the jdk1.3/jre/lib/jvm.cfg file entries such that -classic was the first entry in the file rather than -hotspot. This meant that I ran using the classic JVM and green threads and it works ok.
