I have a Matrox Millenium II and a ViewSonic G810. Under NT I can set my display to 70Hz refresh, 24-bit color, and 1600 x 1200. Using XF86Setup, when I try to get the card to run 1600 X 1200 at 60Hz and 24-bpp I get ripples of errant pixels running through the test pattern. I can see no way to get this to 70 Hz. Is this a limitation of the driver for this card? Is there a better driver?
Steve
Dude, I had similar problems running 24bpp with my trident 9685 providia with 4megs... I've been told that the acceleeration for the card (driver issues) haven't been completely functional with that color depth... If you know anything about fixes for this, let me know... I don't think it's been updated since SuSE has helped with the Xservers... Jonathan
