Greetings, Just a line to explain how I did it. I mirrored the SLESD10 DVD on the Windows Server 2003 in a sub directory SLED10. The latter being in a directory named INSTALL. Sorry for caps, but this is important as Linux differentiates A from a :-) ) Then I shared the INSTALL directory as INSTALL Powered the portable and inserted CD1 from SLED10. Now, the boot options smb:ip/INSTALL does not work. I tried smb//:ip/INSTALL also and loads of combinations to no avail. I aborted and a new and familiar GUI came up (BTW, does anybody know how to invoke this straight from the Installation screen?) I loaded the NIC module Chose Network installation The easy bit, you just need to enter the IP, the directory (INSTALL) and the user/password Et voilà! It took more than two hours, it's worth it than burning CDs. Cheers, Jimmy nui.fr
