Subject: Getting a SuSE compatible computer
A friend of mine would like to get a computer and install SuSE 7.0 on it.
Could you folks please recommend suitable hardware. This person has not owned a
PC before, however he uses Windows based PC's at work.
a) What is a good video card?
b) Are 3 COM external modems good?
c) What type of hard drive will be recognized by YAST2's hard drive
optimization program.
d) What is a good sound card?
The plan is to go to a computer dealer, who builds computers with the
components you specify. Thanks in afvance for any suggestions.
