This looks reasonable. Can you confirm this system has the latest firmware updates from the manufacturer? There are a lot of bugs with enumeration, but it really should scan the EFI system partition to properly enumerate the built-in boot manager menu. It might also help if you took a cell phone photo and put it up somewhere, just because the UI for this is different for each firmware implementation. On the Intel NUC I have with American Megatrends firmware, it's a separate F key to get to the boot manager, than it is firmware setup, than it is firmware updates, then for network boot. So multiple F keys, all at the splash screen that appears before GRUB.
But the built-in boot manager will let you pick those directly,
But I only see Windows in this boot menu!!!
Sad. Seems like a bug. It should work, according to the UEFI spec, but there are lots of bugs. It's definitely worth while making certain the firmware is up to date. -- Chris Murphy -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
